About Programme
The importance attached to the concept of health and disease is growing all around the world and in Turkey. There have been important advances in the health sector serving to these concepts lately. With the economic development of our country, the significance attributed to the health sector is also improving. According to the official statement published by the Ministry of Health, home-care service for those people with constant diseases, who need to stay at hospital permanently, started. Within the scope of this service, home-care services will be provided to those people who have a permanent disease and need medical care. With the development of living conditions, people are expecting to get better health services. In this respect, the number of domestic and foreign investments in health sector is also increasing. The biggest indicator of this case is the increase in the number of private hospitals and polyclinics. However, the number of health staff to work in these health institutions and home-care services are not increasing with the same pace. So, the health programmes under vocational health schools play an important role in meeting this demand. * In this program, the training is provided by the second instruction
Goal
Our aim is to educate home care staff, who identify the patient’s characteristics, make daily care and physiotherapy, organize the room of the patient, help the patient to make exercises in and out of bed, calm down the patient, can take the patient out of the bed, administer medicine to the patient and know how to do first aid.
Hedef
In line with the developments in health services and the spread of accessing these services, the areas of work within the health system is expanding . Therefore, our aim is to educate home care staff who are equipped with the required Professional knowledge, who know making research and accessing information, who have a sense of responsibility, who take part in team work, who are successful in human relations and who have a high self-confidence.
Admission
Higher Education Council in accordance with relevant legislation, is determined by OSYM.
Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete all compulsory courses specified in the course plan and the minimum number of elective courses required; complete 120 ECTS credits and have a minimum CGPA of 2.00/ 4.00 will graduate.
Degree To Earn
Students who successfully complete the programme receive an "Associate's Degree" and are entitled to receive a “technician” title.
Transition To Top Level
Upon successful completion of pre-license education candidates by SSPC as the center of the Vertical Jump Test, successful vocational college graduates can continue their education in graduate programs listed below: Nutrition and dietetics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, nursing.

Graduates of our programme are prefferred in the most developed and modern public and private hospitals as well as in medical companies in our country.
